Rescues placed by Eclipse Kennels

Lucy arrived at Eclipse Kennels two days before Christmas.  What a wonderful girl she was!  Lucy was just over one year old, smart, curious, loving and full of life!

Lucy was surrendered in Franklin, TN. Her days were numbered and thanks to some wonderful people, she was transported to us.  We thought Lucy might have been neglected by her previous owner as she was very thin, but with a bit of love and nurture we fixed that.

Lucy now lives with her new family in Minneapolis, MN.

Skylar was transported to Eclipse Kennels from Etosha Rescue and Adoption Center in Texas.  A volunteer from Etosha saw Skylar wandering the streets and brought him in.

Skylar is a 2-3 year old male that is very sweet.  He is non-confrontational and just wants to be loved.  It is very likely that he could have been neglected as he came to Eclipse very thin.

Before we even picked Skylar up from transport, we had an email query on him.  I knew he would not last long in our foster care as he was very sweet and ready to make someone a wonderful pet.  The Todds of Mingo, IA adopted Skylar as a playmate for their Collie and German Shepherd Dog.  A perfect match for this high energy, full-of-life boy!  Above is a picture of Skylar (now renamed Sam) with his new owners.

Ariana was from the Eau Claire, WI Humane society and spent about four months with Eclipse before finding the perfect home.

Eclipse received an email from a family in Astoria, NY who just lost their female WGSD and who had fell in love with the picture of Ariana.  Ariana made the flight to NY and now lives happily with her new family and their other GSD.
