Atlas is bred by Eclipse Kennels and owned by Tim and Tracie Karsjens. He is a wonderful combination of his majestic sire, Pharaoh, and beautiful-moving dam, Echo. Atlas achieved greatness at a very young age including being the first dog to win Best in Futurity offered by the WGSDCA. He also was the first dog Eclipse bred to earn his WGSDCA championship (and a Select!), IABC Jungsten and Junghund championships, UKC GSD championship and CGC title. Like father, like son.
Atlas has proven that he is just not another pretty face when he passed the first leg of the HCT (Herding Capability Tested) title. This title is offered through the American Herding Breeds Association (AHBA). Atlas did the test never seeing sheep before and responded to them like a pro!
Atlas has shown he is a great producer and benefit to the breed with the puppies he has already produced that are winning in the show ring and making wonderful family pets.
