About Us
We stepped into the
wonderful world of German Shepherds in 1999 when we purchased our first white
and foundation male, Pharaoh. We
were hooked instantly and made it our mission to continue to enhance and
preserve the breed. Through selective breeding, dedication and patience, we have
established the Eclipse line of German Shepherd Dogs.

German Shepherd Dogs are some of the best in the country due to our
discretionary breeding decisions and long-term plan to continue to produce
healthy, well-tempered dogs that excel both in the show ring and as pets. Every
litter we produce is carefully thought out and part of an overall plan. We do
not breed dogs to breed dogs, we breed for the love of the breed and to continue
to enhance our line.
Eclipse-bred dogs have
had incredible success in the conformation show ring. We have bred many White
German Shepherd Dog Club of America (WGSDCA) champions, two WGSDCA Grand
Victors, two WGSDCA Grand Victrixes, various United Kennel Club (UKC) Champions, three UKC
Grand Champions and several dogs with championships in other clubs such as IABCA
and ARBA. We have various dogs of our own and with their loving owners that are
in the process of obtaining championships. In 2005, an Eclipse dog became the
only white German Shepherd Dog to finish the year as the number one German
Shepherd Dog in the UKC.
Our dogs are not just
pretty faces, we have bred dogs that do obedience, rally, agility, herding and
visit nursing homes. We even have a dog we bred who has his own agent to place
him in ads!
We (Donna & Mike) are very active in the dog community. Mike is the current treasurer of the WGSDCA and Donna is a founder of the United German Shepherd Dog Alliance UKC club. Both have handled and competed in AKC conformation events including finishing their Border Collie’s AKC championship. We are members of the WGSDCA and GSDCA.
